Centrelink Payments

Your Centrelink payments form part of your income for tax purposes even if you did not have any tax withheld from your pension or allowance.

Centrelink counts

If you earned any other income, for example from a part-time job or withdrawing some superannuation, you must add your Centrelink income to your other income to determine your taxable income and if you need to lodge a tax return.
